UNI streak ends at 4

February 23, 2000 By admin

The Northern Iowa women had their four-game winning streak snapped last night with a 78-72 loss to Creighton in Cedar Falls. The Panthers suffered another injury when junior forward Nikki Spettel left the game in the second half with an injured foot. Spettel becomes to fifth U-N-I starter to be injured this season. U-N-I coach Tony Dicecco says Spettel would be impossible to replace if she is out for any length of time.
