May 18, 2000 By admin

Classes were cancelled in the North Cedar School District in eastern Iowa today due to a flood. The flood had nothing to do with the weather, it was caused by vandals. Superintendent Rich Hobart.says someone plugged up sinks in the high school science room. The high school is located in Lowden. Hobart says the damage will likely run into thousands of dollars.Today was supposed to be the last day of school for seniors, and it could have been a senior prank. Hobart says the seniors will have to make up the day tomorrow. Police are offering a reward for any information in the case.
