A northwest Iowa dairy has been ordered to pay almost 190-thousand dollars in back pay and other benefits to Hispanics who were denied jobs at “Wells Dairy” in LeMars. “Wells Dairy” had been under investigation for refusing to hire one-hundred-18 Hispanics for entry-level jobs. A spokesman for the company says Wells Dairy admits no guilt. Wells Dairy makes “Blue Bunny” ice cream and employs 17-hundred people.
