Steamwheelers steamroll compettition in Arena League2

The Quad City Steamwheelers are rolling through the first season in Arena Football2. The league was developed as a feeder for the Arena Football League. The Steamwheelers are 8-0 on the season and coming off a 70-14 victory over Roanoke. Quad City coach Frank Haege says he had no idea how good his team would be before the season.Haege spent several years as an assistant coach in the Arena League and feels that experience helped him in the new league.The Steamwheelers are averaging about 70-points per game. Haege says the more amazing stat to him was holding Roanoke to 14.Haege says his team has not even discussed the possibility of an unbeaten season. He says they have four difficult games left and just want to make the playoffs.The Steamwheelers put their unbeaten record on the line Friday at Richmond.
