The Oelwein police officer who was fired for alleged window-peeping has been rehired. Charges were reversed against Jeremy Logan due to a lack of evidence. He was accused of peeking into a girl’s bedroom window in March. In a six-page report, the Oelwein City Civil Service Commission concluded the City of Oelwein failed to prove the charges against Logan. Logan was accused of using a police scope to watch a fellow police officer’s daughter undress in her bedroom.
