Drake hires new assistant coach

Hank McClung has been named the new offensive line coach at Drake. McClung served as running backs coach at Abilene Christian University this past season and replaces Dale Ploessl, who resigned to become an assistant coach at Oklahoma State.Drake coach Rob Ash says they are fortunate to find a quality coach this far into summer.The Bulldogs have lost their offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator from last season. Ash says while they are difficult to replace, there is plenty of interest.
