Independence Day means racing in Iowa

The Fourth of July holiday weekend is typically a busy time for auto racing in the state and this one will be no different. The O’Reilly Auto Parts NASCAR tour makes four stops at five Iowa tracks in five days. Joe Hayes promotes tracks in Farley, West Liberty and Davenport. The first stop is tonight in Farley.The tour stops in West Liberty Saturday night and Davenport on Monday.Hayes says the tour offers the same rules but has added competition and prize money.Hayes says heavy rains, especially in the Northeast part of the state have had a major impact on the schedule.
