Calls to dating service could give treasurer a date in the unemployment line

July 7, 2000 By admin

The Crawford County Supervisors have thrown the book at the County Treasurer for allegedly making phone calls to a dating service during work hours. The Crawford County Supervisors Thursday ordered the County Treasurer Allen Hansohn to pay the county over seven-thousand dollars. That total includes money spent on phone calls he allegedly made to a dating service on a county phone, reimbursement for time spent on the phone and the cost of the investigation. The Supervisors also voted to file a petition to have Hansohn removed from office. A judge will set a hearing to decide whether Hansohn should be removed.
