Students talk education at summit

A group of 30 students from Iowa are in Kansas City today for a Youth Summit. Four members of the group are sponsored by Iowa State University’s Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship. Center spokesperson Judi Eyles says the students at the summit range in age from 16 to 21 and come from three other states along with Iowa. Education is the focus of the three-day event.Eyles says the students from each state will form an individual team to talk about the good and bad things in education.She says they hope to make a national impact on education with a final paper on what they discussed at the summit.Eyles says the summit is great experience for the students.The Iowa School-to-Work office is one the co-sponsors of the summit.
