Dowling and Heelan ready to renew old rivalry

An old football rivalry will be renewed tonight when West Des Moines Dowling travels to Sioux City to take on Heelan. The two Class 4-A Catholic Schools haven’t met on the gridiron since 1989. Dowling coach Matt Dillon says it’s been too long.Heelan coach Roger Jansen says keeping his team settled down will be a key, as they’ll be keyed up and ready to play.Dowling comes into the game ranked 3rd, while Heelan is unranked. Both teams won their first game.
