September is Architecture Month in Iowa — highlighting the men and women who use a pencil and paper to design the buildings we live and work in. Rick Seely is an architect and spokesman for the Iowa Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.Seely says architects have a hand in the design of almost everything in our environment — not just buildings.He says architects are constantly adapting their designs to make them meet the needs of people.The American Institute of Architecture is holding events throughout Iowa this month to highlight the importance of architecture in the state.
