Drake enters PFL play

Drake opens the Pioneer Football League race at home Saturday against the University of San Diego. Drake coach Rob Ash says since joining the P-F-L, some of the Bulldogs’ most entertaining games have come against San Diego. He says they’re an exciting team that throws the ball all over the field.Ash says the key for the Drake defense will be lining up correctly against the different formations.Ash says they are pleased with their 3-0 start as they’ve faced some tough opposition.
