The entire student body of a northeastern Iowa alternative high school will launch a search tomorrow for a missing alum. 22-year-old Liz Syperda vanished this summer from her home in Mount Pleasant. Now, her former classmates are making a class project out of trying to find her.Kelsey Burrus is a teacher at Crusade High School in the Louisa County town of Morning Sun. The search will involve about 50 students in at least four counties — Louisa, Henry, Des Moines and Jefferson. Burrus says the students and faculty members will be tacking up posters.Syperda was last seen July 17th. Investigators say she left her Mount Pleasant home with only her keys and left her purse and all of her belongings behind.
