Iowans line up to buy new game

A new, high-tech toy went on sale across the country this morning, and Iowans were among those waiting in long lines to buy. One of the Best Buy stores in Des Moines had 100 Sony “PlayStation2” units when it opened this morning.Frank Niederklopfer, who sells PlayStations for that Best Buy store, says they sold out in 20 minutes.People began lining up at the store last night, and Niederklopfer took donuts out to them before the store opened this morning. The new version of Sony’s PlayStation is three hundred dollars and each game disc is 50 bucks.
