Women talk farming in Minnesota

November 10, 2000 By admin

Fifty women from Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin are in Minnesota this weekend for the first-ever “Tri-state Women’s Fall Harvest Gathering.” Stacey Brown of Atlantic is on her way north.Brown says the women all employ the concept of “sustainable agriculture” and they’ll compare notes.Brown says so few women are running farms, it’ll keep her from feeling “totally alone” to meet others who are doing the same thing elsewhere. The conference is being held at “Good Earth Village” in Spring Valley, Minnesota today through Sunday
