An eastern Iowa woman was killed in a weather-related car accident yesterday.Cedar Rapids police say 19-year-old Amanda Clinton of Marion lost control of her car on a slick overpass and spun out of control yesterday afternoon. The wreck happened on Highway 30 on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids.Clinton was thrown from the car and died at the scene. A passenger, 20-year-old Raymond Earl Taylor the third, was also thrown from the car. He’s in the hospital, recovering from multiple injuries. Police say weather did play a role in the accident, and neither Clinton nor Taylor were wearing a seat belt.
