November 15, 2000 By admin

Coming off their sixth consecutive N-C-A-A championship, the Iowa wrestling team is favored to win another one and Coach Jim Zalesky says the challengers should be the same cast of characters. In the last two years the Hawkeyes won the national title as underdogs. This season they are favored. Zalesky doesn’t mind being the frontrunner, saying the team has to be focused no matter how high they’re ranked. As the battle for spots in the line-up begins, Zalesky says everyone is ready for the season to start.
