UNI men get some much needed help

Riddled by injuries during the early part of the season, the Northern Iowa basketball team will receive some help this week. Colorado State transfer Erik Smith at guard and Texas-El Paso transfer forward Damond Gregory both become eligible this week. U-N-I coach Sam Weaver says while adding talent is a plus developing chemistry has been a challenge this season.The loss of Robbie Sieverding to a season ending knee injury has been difficult to overcome but Weaver says the Panthers have to look ahead.
