Another Clinton resident was stabbed over the weekend but this time, police arrested a suspect.19-year-old David Cervantes of Clinton is charged with stabbing 23-year-old Luke McDonnell of Clinton outside a fast-food restaurant early Saturday. Cervantes is held on 50-thousand dollars bond. McDonnell was released from an Iowa City hospital on Sunday. One week ago, 54-year-old Pamela Sue Weidner was stabbed to death in a Clinton tavern. No arrests have been made in her slaying, the first this year in Clinton.
