D-O-T looks for car counters

The Iowa Department of Transportation is looking for people to help them count vehicles on the state’s roadways this summer. D-O-T spokesman Jim Majors says it’s a good job for people, such as college students, who’re looking to earn some extra income. Majors says the job involves a lot of sitting and counting of cars on specified roadways.He says the work will center on northeast Iowa this year.Majors says you don’t have to live in northeast Iowa to get the job. He says you should contact your local Workforce Development office to get an application.
