Police in an eastern Iowa town say they’ve solved last week’s murder. Clinton police have charged 45-year-old Robert Jackson of Clinton with the January 15th stabbing death of 54-year-old Pamela Sue Weidner in the Clinton tavern which she managed. The motive for the slaying is still unknown. Jackson is held on a one million-dollar bond. He was charged last week with marijuana possession.
