The Iowa State Cyclones look to take another step toward a second straight Big-12 title when they host Kansas tomorrow in Hilton Coliseum. “March Madness” has become such a focal point of the basketball season that regular season titles have lost their luster. Not so for I-S-U coach Larry Eustachy.Eustachy says winning the conference championship is the “crown jewel” of the regular season. Eustachy says saying you’re the best of 12 teams is far better than going to the “Elite Eight” in the NCAA tournament. Kansas coach Roy Williams says the regular season race means a great deal to his players, too.
