Iowa businesses that’re having trouble finding workers can find a captive audience of potential employees at a job fair coming up in Rockwell City. The North Central Correction Facility is hosting a job fair April 3rd. The facility’s treatment director, Bob Johnson, says they’re looking for businesses to participate. Johnson says they have around 150 inmates looking for jobs. Johnson says employers can find willing workers who have lots of training and he says businesses that hire inmates can get a variety of financial assistance.Johnson says the inmates are ready to return to society after serving their time and business owners shouldn’t have any qualms about hiring them. He says the jobs are an important part of helping the inmates return to a normal life. Johnson says any employers who want to participate in the job fair should call 712-297-7521.
