Cyclones enter spring with momentum of bowl victory

March 28, 2001 By admin

Despite the loss of 15-seniors Iowa State coach Dan McCarney does not expect any drop off after a 9-3 season that ended with the Cyclones first post season victory in the Insight-dot-com Bowl. The Cyclones opened spring drill this afternoon and McCarney says the mood is upbeat after a history-making season. McCarney says the extra month of practices for the bowl game will be a benefit for the Cyclones.
