Northeast Iowa officials aren’t saying much about the cause of a shooting near New Hampton.The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Department says 14-year-old Andrew Speltz suffered a fatal gunshot wound around 8 o’clock last night at a rural residence. The Department of Natural Resources is helping in the investigation. Officials are not saying if they think the shooting was an accident or a suicide. They do say no foul play is suspected.
