Two hurt in Cedar Rapids shooting

Two people were put in the hospital by a weekend shooting in Cedar Rapids. Police say two people were shot several times at the Eastside Maidrite Bar late Saturday night. Their injuries are not life-threatening. Bar patrons detained the suspect, 44-year-old Randy High of Marion, until cops arrived.High is charged with two counts of willful injury and is being held in jail. Police aren’t releasing the names of the people who were shot. The gun used in the shooting was found at the scene.
