Iowa Red Cross member heads to New York

The director of the Iowa Rivers Chapter of the Red Cross in Marshalltown left today for New York. After a short delay to round up some cows that wandered from her farm, Mary Dooley arrived in Des Moines Dooley will be an assistant public affairs worker, helping let local people and agencies know the Red Cross is there, and what it offers. Dooley flew to Philadelphia, then is traveling the rest of the way by car.
