September 22, 2001 By admin

You’ll be able to get much more than a Coke and a smile in western Iowa this weekend. The town of Atlantic is hosting “Coca-Cola Days” and the public is welcome to stop, sip some soda and see some remarkable collectibles. Atlantic Chamber of Commerce director Kate Johansen says the “Show, Swap and Sell” segment of the weekend is the big annual event for collectors of Coke paraphernalia. There’s also a parade planned for later today, a Coca-Cola Museum, a Coca-Cola Barbecue and a Coca-Cola Golf Classic Tournament. Johansen says the 9th annual event has wide appeal as there will be people from 16 different states. For more information, surf to “www.atlanticiowa.com”.
