Another Huskie says he wants to be a Hawk

October 10, 2001 By admin

A second Oelwein football player has committed to play at the University of Iowa. Six-foot four-inch linebacker Ryan Majerus says he also considered Iowa State and Northwestern. He says their academic program, coaches and facilities were the reasons he chose Iowa.
Majerus says his chosen major was also a factor in his decision, as he is interested in political science and law.
Majerus will head to Iowa with Oelwein offensive lineman Chris Felder. He says they’re good friends and will enjoy playing together at Iowa.
