October 22, 2001 By admin

(10/20/01)
The meanest dinosaur of them all, the T-rex, will be the focus of several presentations this weekend at the Science Center of Iowa.
Kay Hyde, spokeswoman for the Des Moines facility, says a special guest will be lecturing during the Fall Fossil Festival.
University of Iowa paleontology professor Christopher Brochu will be talking about the T-rex, Sue, which he worked on for three years in preparation for the Field Museum in Chicago. He’ll also deliver a lecture about “Why Crocodiles are Better than Dinosaurs.”
