A man apparently jumped out of his hotel room in hopes of trying to avoid an interview with Davenport police. Officers got a call last night from a downtown hotel after clerks suspected the man was using a stolen credit card. Police say they found an open window in the man’s third floor room. The man survived the fall and was taken to a Davenport hospital. The man’s name and condition have not been released.
