Lieutenant Governor delivers Thanksgiving address

Lieutenant Governor Sally Pedersen delivered the annual Thanksgiving-Day proclamation at Des Moines Plymouth Congregational Church at 10 this morning.This year, the proclamation opens with a mention of the losses of September 11th, and wishes for comfort for the nation’s families who have lost a loved one.The annual state proclamation recognizes members of the military who’re helping ensure peace and justice, and refers to this year’s events that remind us life is short.Pedersen says the official state proclamation honors the abundance of life in Iowa.
