December 19, 2001 By admin

The man who allegedly held up a Davenport bank on December 4th, saying he had an envelope full of anthrax, has been arrested out-of-state. 52-year-old Douglas Poling was arrested Tuesday in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The former Ohio man who had lived in Davenport is accused of robbing three Kentucky banks. He was arrested after a chase after officers spotted what they thought was a get-away car from one of the hold-ups. Poling was identified after the Davenport robbery from security camera videotape.
