Things are back to normal in the tiny northeast Iowa town of Ossian today after a wreck involving a train and a fuel truck. The accident happened just after 11 a-m yesterday when a train struck and knocked over a tanker truck that was carrying gasoline and diesel fuel. As a precaution, a two-block area of downtown Ossian was evacuated while crews cleaned up the mess. Firefighters say not very much of the fuel spilled, but the area was sprayed with foam and the electricity was turned off to prevent a fire. Residents were let back into their homes after 8 p-m. The driver of the truck, Martin Tieskotter of rural Ossian, was not.
