Cyclones upset Missouri

Iowa State knocked off number-17 Missouri last night in Ames, 71-67. Tyrae Pearson led Iowa State with 28 points and 12 rebounds. Iowa State coach Larry Eustachy says it’s a new era for Cyclone basketball, and last night was a starting point for a team that’s “cutting its teeth.” Missouri coach Quinn Snyder praised Iowa State’s effort.N-B-A scouts were in the stands to watch Missouri junior Kareem Rush, who scored 29 points and is expected to opt for the draft this spring.
