Iowans are urged to double-check their insurance coverage as part of what state insurance officials are calling “Get Smart Week.”Scott Kinney, spokesman for the Iowa Insurance Division, says Iowans might benefit from re-thinking the amount of money they spend on their premiums and on their deductibles.The state insurance division has created a series of videotapes that are being made available for the first time this week — for free.The free tapes also cover specific tips about homeowner’s insurance, auto insurance and life insurance.
