Grinnell men make it into Midwest Conference Tourney

The Grinnell College Pioneers will play in the Midwest Conference Tournament again this year, after winning their last two games of the season. The tourney is in De Pere, Wisconsin, near Green Bay. The first opponent will be St. Norbert, the top seed and the undefeated team in the conference at 14-and-0. Pioneer coach Dave Arsenault says the Pioneers are averaging 124 points a game going into the tournament. The team was picked to finish sixth in a pre-season poll, says is because a lot of people don’t like they way they operate.Grinnell has just one senior on the team this season. If the Pioneers win Friday night, they’ll play again Saturday afternoon in the championship game.
