Woman killed in accident near LeClaire

Authorities have released the name of the person killed about noon on Sundayin a traffic accident near LeClaire. Dead is 43-year-old Kathryn Talbot of Milan, Illinois. She was a passengerin a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by 40-year-old Rodney Talbot. He was injured in the crash. Police say the Talbots were eastbound on Interstate 80 about two miles from the Mississippi River bridge when an unidentified white car made a sudden lane change and forced them into the median. The Talbot vehicle then slid broadside across the westbound lanes, went into a ditch and rolled several times.
