Another big storm is predicted for Iowa

March may arrive tomorrow like a -white- lion. The National Weather Service forecast calls for the possibility of significant snowfall in Iowa, with the chance of some areas getting six to eight inches. Meteorologist Miles Schumaker says cold air looming over the Rocky Mountains is headed our way.A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Friday for central, south-central and southwest Iowa. Schumaker says the storm system could bring a lot of snow to some parts of the Hawkeye State. The Winter Storm Watch extends to Friday night for central, south central and eastern Iowa, while the Watch covers east central and southeast Iowa on Saturday.
