Questions remain about shooting death of Council Bluffs man

April 1, 2002 By admin

It’s still unclear if a weekend shooting death in southwest Iowa involved foul play.Council Bluffs Police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man whose body was found Saturday morning inside the home of his estranged wife. Jerry Walk had been shot three times. An autopsy yesterday did not reveal whether Walk committed suicide or if he’d been murdered. Police are sending evidence to the Des Moines crime lab today for more testing. Walk had lived in the home with his wife at one time, but later moved out and was currently living in Glenwood.
