Possibly tainted breakfast biscuits recalled

April 8, 2002 By admin

A breakfast snack is being recalled in Iowa due to health concerns. MarketFare Foods, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is recalling an untold number of sausage and egg biscuits which may be contaminated with listeria. The potentially deadly bacteria was found by the Florida Department of Agriculture and the F-D-A. One illness is reported from the product, but not in Iowa, from the “Deli Pride Egg, Sausage, & Cheese Biscuits.” They’re sold in four-ounce boxes and are coded 0-8-0-2-4-3. The products were sold in Iowa and 34 other states. Return the product to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
