Iowa baseball team looks for tourney bid down the stretch

The Iowa Hawkeyes will enter the final week of the regular season with a chance to qualify for the Big Ten post-season tournament. Iowa plays host to Illinois and may need to win three of four games to get into the six-team field. However, the Hawks still have an outside chance of finishing third.Iowa coach Scott Broghamer says the whole season has been “topsy turvey.”Broghamer says his team will only have to worry about one thing this weekend and that’s playing well.Broghamer says after a slow start in conference play, the Hawks are happy to control their own destiny.
