Golden Gloves moves location this year

The Iowa Golden Gloves boxing championships begin a two-day run in the Des Moines suburb of Clive. John Connors of the Golden Gloves says the tournament has a new date and new site this year after the national tournament was moved from May to June.Connors says competition will be held in Novice and Open divisions.Connors feels there are about five Iowans who if they can win this tournament could go a long way in the national tournament.
