New district holds its first graduation

Sunday was a day of firsts –and lasts– for students in one Iowa school district. The first annual graduation ceremony for the new West Central Valley School District was held yesterday at the West Central Valley Football field in Stuart. The new West Central Valley School District had a total of 69 graduating seniors this year. At the beginning of the school year the Dexfield and Stuart-Menlo school districts consolidated bring students from Redfield, Dexter, Stuart and Menlo together making one new school District.
