Tipper Gore says she’s not giving her husband, Al Gore — the former Vice President, any advice about whether to run again for PresidentMrs. Gore, who was in Iowa this weekend to campaign on behalf of democrat Senator Tom Harkin, says it’s too early to even think about whether her husband should run in 2004. She says they’ve just finished working on two books and are taking some time for rest and relaxation and are campaigning for friends.Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000 but George W. Bush won the Presidency because he had more Electoral College votes. Gore recently invited supporters and campaign backers to Tennessee to discuss whether he should run again in 2004.Tipper Gore says her husband hasn’t made up his mind yet, but she says she’ll be fully supportive whatever he decides to do. Mrs. Gore says the decision will be made sometime at the end of the year.
