Central Iowa group to sing in New York

A youth vocal group from central Iowa will appear in New York City early next year. The 35-member Ames Children’s Choir has been chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall. The choir’s spokeswoman Kris Ver Steig says it’ll be a big show. Ver Steig says the choir draws the best young vocalists from miles around.The concert is scheduled for February 13th.
