Three sentence in Quad Cities drug ring

November 8, 2002 By admin

Three men have been sentenced for their part in a Quad-Cities drug ring. The drug in question’s G-H-B, a so-called date-rape drug. Six men in all were charged with making and distributing the drug, and told a judge they only made it for their own use, because it helped them with bodybuilding exercise. Judge Harold Vietor handed down sentences of ten years in prison to Timothy O’Brien, four and a half to Timothy Greenlee, both Davenport men. And he sentenced Catholic priest Jeffery Windy of Illinois to ten years and one month in a federal prison. Three more men in the case will be sentenced after authorities decide whether to consider leniency in exchange for their cooperation with prosecutors.
