January 28, 2003 By admin

The executive director of the Buchanan County Conservation Board has won the National 4-H Wildlife and Fisheries Volunteer Leader award. Dan Cohen is among six people nationwide to get the honor. It recognizes his work in youth education, 4-H and U-S-D-A extension programs. Cohen has led teen wilderness trips for 17 years and has volunteered 35-hundred hours. He’s getting an expenses-paid trip to North Carolina in March to accept the award at a national conference.
