UNI looks for sweep of Illinois State

Northern Iowa visits Illinois State tonight. The Panthers are 2-6 in the Valley and won the first matchup with the Redbirds by two in the Dome. U-N-I coach Greg McDermott says both teams will be motivated because the game was close all the way. He says both teams are struggling and need to get a win.Illinois State is 0-8 in the Valley, but McDermott says they’re much better than the record indicates.Redbirds coach Tom Richardson says his team has not given up on the season, and have gotten better as the season progresses.
