ISU women hope for better results against Missouri

February 12, 2003 By admin

The Iowa State women are on the road in the Big-12 against Missouri. It will be a tough chore for Bill Fennelly’s team on the road but it can’t be as bad as their first matchup of the season. Back on January 19th, Mizzou posted a 31-point victory in Ames.Fennelly says there is no way to blot that game out of their minds and there’s also no way the Tigers can play any better in tonight’s game. He says his team has to make more shots this time after missing the first nine shots in the first game. Fennelly says the Cyclones need to rebound well on the defensive end.The Cyclones are 4-5 in the Big-12 and 9-11 overall.
